Going to the ground one last time is a fair point

Think it would be a great idea personally.

Because it would be a chance to go to the ground one last time? That's kind of my point

If all the season ticket holders are at Wembley then that's great, would just mean the Boleyn being full of fans who maybe hadn't had the chance to go this season to say goodbye.

Anyway I'm off to kneecap de gea, martial and then Lukaku to try to help us get there in the first place

Re: IF we make the FA Cup final, any chance of it on the big screen at the Boleyn for a final farewell?
Because it could be the last chance a lot of people get to go to a ground full of West Ham United history before it gets knocked down maybe?

One of many reasons..

Plus a full house at the Boleyn watching on huge screens in the middle of the pitch would be better atmosphere than a pub I would imagine.

Why would people pay to watch it in a poor facility when you could watch for free in a pub with a cracking atmosphere?

I would like to start another thread tempting fate about our triumphant march to reclaiming the FA Cup. What is a proper parade route following our win? In fact, who should be the first player to lift the trophy? Should it be our captain or should Payet receive the honours after his hat trick in the final? Perhaps Bilic should since he has been the architect of our success. What formation should we utilise in the charity shield?

We still have to beat Man U at home which hasn't happened since Johnny Spector last graced our squad one snowy league cup evening in November six years ago. Prior to that was nine years ago, so let's all put our willies back until that happens.

Why did they stop the Beambacks? I never attended one, but I remember one of the last was Millwall in 03?

Re: IF we make the FA Cup final, any chance of it on the big screen at the Boleyn for a final farewell?
This isn't a bad idea. I reckon all of us with season tickets would be at Wembley but for people who haven't got a Season Ticket for whatever reason would love the idea of this I would imagine.

Not to mention Gold and Sullivan looking at this as a way to make money one last time before the ground goes.

Gives fans without a season ticket to go to the ground one last time also.

Imagine that would be just as emotional to watch it there winning it inside the Boleyn as it would be being there at Wembley.

Isn't it funny, when anyone else makes a mistake, you're all over them like a badly fitted suit but when you make one, we have to guess what you REALLY meant

In any case 1996 was the the youth cup final wasn't it, it's possible you could have been meaning that, possible but unlikely?

1992 was the pivotal year in modern football, not 1996.

Cheers.

Will we be allocated enough tickets for every ST holder to be guaranteed one?

I seem to remember West Ham had applications from 98% season ticket holders in 1996.

Lets be honest people can scrap up £40/£50 is they have a season ticket and they go to football without their kids all the time.

I just can't see season ticket holders watching it on TV at Upton Park. The few that will be missing it will be the ones with a wedding or holiday or similar event.

I would ratther be in a local boozer than one in Green Street to watch the final, then up Green Street for the parade. What a day that would be by the way.

maybe they want to but can't? money. not being able to take their child. travel issues. could be plenty of reason why an ST holder couldn't make it. not everyone is you mate.
